How Do I Get Help?

For assistance with dialing into the SHIPS modems; obtaining, setting up and using your internet access software; and troubleshooting problems connecting to SHIPS service:

Students can contact the Student Computer Consulting Service (SCCS) by visiting their web site at: http://facility.berkeley.edu/labs/sccs.html or send an e-mail to sccs@cafe.berkeley.edu.

Faculty/Staff can contact the Faculty and Staff Consulting Officer by visiting their web site at http://drmicro.berkeley.edu or send e-mail to drmicro@socrates.berkeley.edu.

Please allow 1-2 business days for replies.

Please include your Low Cost Modems account, type of computer and brief discription of the problem when you submit your e-mail for help.
