Terms and Conditions

The Terms and Conditions listed here govern the agreement for establishing and maintaining a SHIPS account. By reading and agreeing to these terms and conditions, you are indicating that you will abide by them.

All charges for SHIPS will be billed through the Campus Accounts Receivables System (CARS). SHIPS bills are due and payable on the due date indicated on your CARS billing statement. If payment is not received by the due date, delinquent accounts are subject to late charges and deactivation of the SHIPS account without notice.

It is the SHIPS account holder's responsibility to request cancellation of a SHIPS account. If you are a student who is graduating or leaving the University or staff leaving the University, it is your responsibility to cancel your SHIPS account via email to ship@berkeley.edu.

Failure to notify of cancellation of your SHIPS account will result in your being liable for all charges to your account.
